Thomas A Crawford Scholarship

The Embassy would like to draw your attention to a Research Scholarship available for residents of Denmark which is offered at the University of Tasmania.

The Thomas Crawford Memorial Scholarship results from a bequest to the University of Tasmania from Thomas Crawford who was an American citizen who graduated from the University in 1963.

In his will, Mr Crawford specifically directed that students from eight countries should be eligible for these scholarships. The countries are: Australia, Canada, Chile, Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, United Kingdom, and the United States of America. These were countries with which Thomas Crawford felt a special affinity.

The Thomas A Crawford Scholarship is currently set at the Australian Postgraduate Award rate (about A$19,000 per year) for three years. Some assistance with travel to Tasmania is also included.

Up to 117 awards will be offered to applicants from participating countries for 2009.

Endeavour Europe Awards

The Endeavour Europe Awards provide financial assistance for postgraduate students from participating countries in Europe to undertake, in any field of study, either an Australian Masters degree or PhD in Australia.
Up to 20 awards will be offered to applicants from participating countries

International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS)
